Infographic: Analytics startup raised $670 million funding in Nov, riding on boom in marketing and customer segments

This month (November 2015), more than 33 big data, analytics and machine learning startups raised in excess of $670 million funding globally. Compared to October, the number of startups that received funding this month raised by six(6). While it was a fintech startup (Earnest) that took away the honors with a mammoth $275 million Series B fundraising, the month witnessed a lot of investor attention towards marketing automation and customer analytics startups. Healthcare segment, too, saw interesting developments with machine learning and deep learning startups focused on drug discovery (TwoXAR) and brain analytics (EIMindA), respectively, received investments. Another interesting venture that received investment was OddUp, a predictive analytics solution that aims to help venture capitalists make better investments in startups.
